As if the S63 AMG Coupe wasn’t already powerful enough, Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the 2015 S65 AMG Coupe, a V-12-powered two door that will sit atop the automaker’s fleet of German beauties. The luxury grand tourer’s familiar twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 dishes out 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque and can go from 0-60 mph in an estimated 4.0 seconds with a governed top speed of 186 mph. The rear-wheel-drive car will feature a seven-speed automatic transmission which will offer up Controlled Efficiency, Sport and Manual options for the gearbox. One of the key new features is the Magic Body Control system, which helps to improve the ride by scanning the road ahead and adjusting the car’s sport suspension to minimize the impact of any undulations. Also, the new curve tilting function allows for a flat sensation when cornering. Details are immense inside the cabin as well, as the sport seats are fitted with Nappa leather exclusive to AMG which can be seen through other parts of the interior, including the roof. The sport steering wheel has a three-spoke design while the AMG version of the 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster fitted to all S-Class variants is brought in here as well. Mercedes-Benz will start taking orders for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe in the weeks ahead with the first delivery to be made by end of the year.
