Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the third in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. With Peter Jackson at the helm once again, we see an epic conclusion to the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. As darkness converges on an escalating conflict between Dragon Smaug and the Company, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide – unite or be destroyed. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hits theaters December 17th.
