J.Crew and New Balance continue their ongoing collaboration with the release of the 998 “Concrete Jungle” sneaker. It’s inspired by the sights and sounds of a night out in the city and features a deconstructed camo colorway. With the design work done in New York City and crafting in Skowhegan, Maine, this shoe’s not only a great looking shoe — especially for the fall and winter months ahead — but it also is impeccably crafted here in the good ol’ US of A. Getting them won’t be so easy though. An extremely limited number of J.Crew x New Balance 998 Concrete Jungle sneakers will be released at 10am local time on 9/13 at the Liquor Store in New York, the men’s store at Copley Place in Boston, and On Lan Street in Hong Kong. The sneakers will then be available in select stores in New York, Boston, L.A., Costa Mesa, San Francisco, Honolulu, London, Hong Kong and at jcrewmens.com from 9/17 onwards.
