Very few brands are shaking up the industry like Brooklyn-based Greats is. They’ve managed to crank out some really timeless sneaker designs and offer them up at prices so affordable, most buyers don’t have to think twice. They’re trading profits in exchange for accessibility to high-quality footwear. The Royale sneaker sits at the top of their lineup, a piece hand-crafted in Italy using Italian suedes from the country’s best tanneries. The footbed and lining are full grain, vegetable tanned Vachetta leather, paired with waxed cotton laces, all sitting atop an Italian Margom sole. The price? Many labels dish out similar styles and build quality for somewhere north of $400 but Greats offers the Royale in suede for $169. The Matisse Blue colorway is available to order now while the Farro Sand and Graphite Grey edition are due to release on October 7th and October 21st. (via hypebeast)
