On a recent trip to Chicago, we got the opportunity to stop in at The Tie Bar’s holiday pop up shop in Lincoln Park. Though you might be accustomed to shopping their vast selection of tie bars, neckties, skinny ties, pocket squares and more via their online store, this is the first time they’ve setup a brick-and-mortar to showcase their best fall and holiday product. The 3,200-square-feet space is really well done and features a lounge area, bar, and barber seats as well for the several events and parties that The Tie Bar plans to host here before it goes away in January. What we really like about it is the urban feel of the space with its exposed brick, throw rugs, local art and other decorative details that really make this a place that at the very least, guys will want to hang out at. It’s a natural setting with bins of ties on industrial-inspired racks organized by color, set alongside other key accessories in similar color schemes. The center table when you enter has a great mix of knit ties and tie bars, lapel pins, and more. If you head up the steps in the back, you end up at shop’s personalized gifting station where you can pick a few ties / accessories out and use The Tie Bar gift boxes to be all set for the holidays.
The Tie Bar Pop Up is located at 918 West Armitage in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood and will be open into the new year.
