TASCHEN is getting set to publish Rolling Stones in a historic SUMO-size edition of just 1,600 copies. There’s over 500 pages of amazing imagery pulled together from the last fifty years. Some of the world’s great photographer’s works are featured here with the list including David Bailey, Peter Beard, Bob Bonis, Annie Leibovitz, Gered Mankowitz, Helmut Newton, and others. The foreword’s written by former President Bill Clinton while there are also three new essays from award-winning writers David Dalton, Waldemar Januszczak, and Luc Sante. This work is endorsed by the band, while they’ve also given unprecedented access to their own archives in New York and London, giving a more private side to their story. The Limited Collector’s Edition is set to 1,150 copies, each numbered and signed by Mick, Keith, Charlie, and Ronnie. There are also six Art Editions, each limited to 75 copies and coming with a photographic print. Rolling Stones SUMO is available to order now with deliveries taking place in December.
