Philadelphia has gone through a massive maturation process over the past decade or so. Having grown up just miles outside the City of Brotherly Love, I can tell you firsthand that it wasn’t always a place my friends and I would want to spend our spare time. But thanks to a really bustling performing and visual art scene, Philly’s really starting to find more depth. The local art scene has seen tremendous growth with support from some of the city’s finest art galleries and museums as well as its young, ambitious community. This bit plays a massive role in nurturing local arts while propelling growth.
