If you’re not into full-on convertibles but still want that open-air feeling from a high-performance sports car, look no further than the new Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. It made its official debut at this week’s Detroit Auto Show and the details are tremendous. The Targa 4 GTS takes the 3.8-liter V6 from the GTS lineup, giving this beauty 424 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. For the purists, Porsche will gives the option of either a seven-speed manual transmission or the more optimal seven-speed PDK. Here, you’ll get a top speed of 188 mph and a 0 to 60 time of 4.1 seconds, compared to 4.5 seconds if you go for the manual. Beyond the performance shifts, the Targe 4 GTS also gets a revised front bumper and 20-inch wheels from the 911 Turbo S while the headlights get smoked covers. The cockpit gets Sport Plus seats with black Alcantara details.
