New York Fashion Week has been filled with a ton of successes and seeing John Elliott’s first runway show and first showing at the shows in New York in general ranks as one of the highlights in our book. The John Elliott + Co. Fall/Winter 2015 collection is inspired by the Pacific Ocean and features a muted color palette, familiarizing itself with the foggy San Francisco mornings Elliott grew up on. This is blended with pieces that are designed for form and function and perfect for layering when a cool breeze sneaks up on you. Some things to look out for include Japanese melton wool outerwear and the use of waxed nylon as well as a lot more robust leather components. One more thing to take note of are the NIKEiD’d LeBron 12 sneaker in all white with an ice mint outsole, arguably one of the nicest colorways we’ve seen of the shoe to date. Look for the John Elliott + Co. Fall/Winter 2015 collection to hit select retailers late summer.
