Both Pyer Moss and Greats saw substantial growth in 2014 and they really have that shared born in New York vision. With New York Fashion Week taking place this week and Pyer Moss Creative Director Kerby Jean-Raymond showcasing his Fall 2015 collection, it seems like the perfect occasion to unveil a collaborative effort between the two brands. We were in attendance at the runway show and immediately spotted the Pronto Runner and identifying the arching Greats logo subdued on the heel. It took months of team work between Kerby at Pyer Moss and Greats Design Director, Salehe Bembury to source the right materials. In the end, what we have is heavyweight Italian suede, smooth Italian nubuck, ballistic mesh and reflective detailing. Pyer Moss tosses in their signature perforated leather and “94” embroidered on the tongue. The shoe also features Pyer Moss black and white melange lining. The beautiful Pyer Moss x Greats Pronto Runner is finished off with a translucent rubber Vibram freeride outsole. Look out for more details around this collaboration, with the Greats Pronto dropping sometime in Spring 2015.
