We’ve always been a fan of Ronnie Fieg’s contributions to fashion and streetwear, from his early footwear collaborations all the way up to the opening of his Kith retail outposts. Now, KITH’s announced they’ll be opening a pop-up store inside Tokyo’s United Arrows & Sons Shibuya flagship and launching “The Sakura Project,” a collection which features partnerships with Puma and John Elliott + Co., that will be launched exclusively at the shop. Inspiration for the collection comes from the transition of seasons, with the lineup’s color palette and name celebrating the country’s sakura blossoms. With United Arrows & Sons, one of Japan’s most influential retailers, welcoming Ronnie and Kith with open arms, it sets up Kith’s Japan presence quite nicely. The Kith Tokyo Pop-Up Shop will be launching “The Sakura Project” in-store on Friday, March 20th with the installation experience remaining open only for the weekend until March 23rd. Stay tuned for more details around the collection.
