Luxury men’s online retailer MR PORTER has teamed up with Levi’s to create limited edition runs of the denim brand’s latest 501 CT jean. The “Custom Tapered” fit was released earlier this year and has already gotten a ton of love. The washes are diverse so you can grab a pair for each season while the fit is just spot on. The leg opening is not too loose and not too tight, allowing it to be worn casually or dressed up if the occasion calls for it. To take things a step further though, the Levi’s design team worked with MR PORTER’s denim buyer Mr Sam Kershaw to have the 501 CT jean crafted from Cone Mills’ White Oak selvedge denim made in North Carolina. It’s been fitted with an exclusive Eureka lab stamp (numbered 1-100) and a big ‘E’ on the back of the buttons, making for the ultimate piece of collectable denim. To give you a sense of how special these jeans really are, each pair takes about 72 hours to make by hand at Levi’s Innovation lab, Eureka, in San Francisco. They’re available now exclusively on MR PORTER in a few different washes.
