White Mountaineering and adidas Originals have showcased a new collection for next spring. adidas expanded on its footwear collection by launching a full apparel co-collection at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
‘The limited color options are inspired by uniforms, they remind me of chambray,’ says White Mountaineering founder and creative director Yosuke Aizawa. ‘The color blocking and the triangle piece on the back of the apparel and the footwear’s heel patch area is a collaboration sign-off and nods to the detailing of White Mountaineering’s main line.’
The range includes a mix of shirts, shorts, jackets, cardigans, trainers, and leggings. All the items feature the iconic adidas three-stripe logo on the left cuff, and the color palette is limited to a classic blue and grey. The pieces were inspired by classic adidas sportswear.
