Sony has just released their newest entry in the mirrorless camera world, and by the looks of things it’s a real beast. The new Sony a7RII is an upgrade of the already massively popular Sony a7RII, and as per the press release, it’s got specs to make most photographers consider a shift. Leading the charge is the camera’s 42-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and the a7RII’s ability to shoot UltraHD video. Holy. ISO maxes out at 102,400 and even has a silent shutter mode while there’s built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC. Look for the Sony a7RII to release in August this year, with pre-orders to be accepted as early as next week. You may get yours at B&H Photo for $3,198.
