The Loewe Spring/Summer 2016 Collection is out, and as expected from the Spanish luxury brand, the designs celebrate escapism. Inspired by a visit to Japan, fashion designer Jonathan Anderson created a line that best interpreted the strange new world he encountered. Loewe Spring/Summer 2016 is a diverse collection of functional, yet whimsical, pieces. Outerwear, knitwear, and sportswear all take a contrasting fluid-with-edges aesthetic. The collection experiments with unusual combinations of materials and fabrics, and is harmonized by a heavily graphic, space-inspired theme from start to finish.
