Suitsupply has showcased the brand’s latest collection for spring/summer 2016. The collection was inspired by the full-time dandies and colorful architecture of Havana, Cuba.
Anybody who has been to Cuba will know that it is an aesthetically unique city, with a mish-mash of cultural and artistic influences from the Spanish colonial architecture to the 1950s American cars that are still driven there. Drawing inspiration from this, Suitsupply’s ‘Havana Nights’ collection features summer-weight cashmere, silks, and heavy Irish linens in plaid and paisley patterns. The color palette also reflects Havana with olive green, cherry red, and Havana brown. True to the brand’s tradition, the historical inspiration comes together with continental tailoring and detailing to created beautifully handcrafted pieces.
