the POOL aoyama, a concept store by streetwear fashion designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, has recently collaborated with US-based electronics outfit ION Audio to release a stylish new portable turntable device, which is a whole lot more compact than traditional home stereo setups. The portable turntable comes with a built-in speaker, a pitch control function, and iPad compatibility. It only costs US$212, but there’s a catch: It’s currently only available in Japan. So if you’re there, you can get yours online, or pick it up at Fujiwara’s recently-opened pop-up store in Tokyo:
