J. Crew is relaunching its denim collection this season. The new range includes higher quality fabrics that have been sourced from the likes of the world-renown Kaihara Mill in Fukuyama City, Japan; as well as a new variety of styles, preferences, and washes. Each piece in the denim range was designed by Ben Ross and Rich Hermosura. The washes were hand-developed by Wonderland Concepts in Henderson, Kentucky. They include: the dark wash, Riverton, faded wash, Tobias, two selvedge washes, fairfaw, and raw. The styles were tweaked by the brand’s vice president of denim design Mary Pierson, who commented: ‘We made the fits a little more relevant, but we didn’t change them so much that guys wouldn’t recognize them.’ Find out more on the J. Crew website.
