The 2016 BMW M2 has just been unveiled, and by the looks, it’s a sleeker, souped-up M235i. It’s got lightened suspension components and a bigger rear differential, and the dual-clutch suspension variant is 85 pounds lighter than the heavyset M235i. Its front end features larger intakes to feed its extra engine radiator, and it sports 19-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Under the hood, the 2016 BMW M2 is powered by a 3.0-L inline six engine that, all told, delivers 365HP at 6,500RPM and 343 ft-lbs of torque – that’s 45HP and 13 ft-lbs of torque over the M235i. It boasts a top speed of 155mph and can go from zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds for the dual-clutch automatic variant, and 4.4 seconds for the standard six-speed manual.

Pricing information for the 2016 BMW M2 is as yet unavailable, but these beauties are expected to roll out around Spring 2016.
