After the box-office success that was X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer is back to helm its colossal sequel: X-Men: Apocalypse. In the movie, Professor X (James McAvoy) studies the return of Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who appears to be history’s very first mutant. Now, leading an army of mutants that includes Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Apocalypse intends to destroy the world and create a new one for mutants; and Professor X leads a small band of young mutants in an impossible quest to stop him.
Also starring Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, and newcomer Lana Condor as Jubilee, X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on Memorial Day: May 30, 2016. Check out the new X-Men Apocalypse trailer below.
