George Clooney and Julia Roberts star in Money Monster, a film centered around Lee Gates (Clooney), a TV personality that’s known for a finance show offering tips on the stock market. During a live taping, things take a turn for the worst as a person breaks onto the set and takes Gates hostage. From there, we learn the person, Kyle Budwell, took some advice from Gates in the past and ended up losing all of his family’s money. A lot of corruption is uncovered and takes both Gates and Budwell on a search for truth while the authorities try to close in on the hostage situation. Julia Roberts and Dominic West also star in the film, which is due out in theaters May 13th.
