With the iconic BMW M3 now delivering thirty years of race-inspired and race-ready performance to the consumer market, there’s a special 30th anniversary model of the car on the way. It comes in a Macau Blue metallic finish and features BMW’s M3 Competition engine package to churn out 450 horses and Active M suspension to cycle through different comfort options. The package brings forth forged 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with 666 M star spoke design and staggered tires. Other exterior details include black chrome tailpipe trim for the M sports exhaust system and exclusively designed M gills in the front wings bearing the logo “30 Years M3”.

Inside, you’re instantly greeted with the “30 Years M3” insignia on the front doorsills. M sports seats come in a skeletal design while the seatbelts feature woven-in BMW M strips. The wording “30 Years M3 1/500” can be seen on the carbon fibre interior trim strip of the instrument panel with “30 Years M3” also being embroidered into the front headrests. And yes, you guessed it, the BMW M3 “30 Years M3” is limited to just 500 units worldwide, with the anniversary model coming at €10,000 premium over the standard model. It’s slated to release in Europe this summer though we have no exact word yet on US allocation. Check it out in the gallery above.
