Last night, the LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a 3-1 series deficit to win Game 7 of the NBA Finals and bring the city of Cleveland its first-ever NBA Championship. Cleveland’s failed on numerous attempts to bring any major sports championship to the city, including two previous attempts by James and the Cavs of years past. The last time a trophy came here was in 1964. 1964. LeBron promised this city a championship and he delivered. After 13 years in the league, this win means more than any Miami Heat championship or MVP trophy. An unbelievable come back and next-level performances from the team’s King James make way for Nike Basketball’s latest ad celebrating the victory and letting every person in Northeast Ohio that it definitely was worth the wait.
