Menswear and accessories brand Apolis has made its East Coast debut with its recent flagship store unveiling in New York City. Located in the trendy Soho neighbourhood, the Apolis: Community Centre aims to blend retail with social programming through the incorporation of events on sustainability and culture, development workshops, and third-party residences. The integration of a social responsibility element is rooted in founders Raan and Shea Parton’s mission to empower communities and create “a venue that brings people together — through gallery exhibits, dinners, film releases, new Apolis collection debuts and keynote speakers.” Kyle Westaway, author of best-selling book Profit & Purpose, will kickstart the store’s programming on August 24th. September will bring new and exciting things to the space with the brand’s Compadres Coffee partnership, which will go by the name Coffee Workshop. Sponsored by La Colombe, the workshop will offer barista training sessions and coffee for donations throughout the month. For more information, check out the Apolis website here.
