Burberry has released a short film inspired by the founder of Burberry. “The Tale of Thomas Burberry” is directed by Academy Award-winner Asif Kapadia and stars Domhnhall Gleeson, Sienna Miller, Dominic West and Lily James. The film looks back at important moments in the brand’s 160-year history, including the invention of gabardine fabric which the company still uses to make their signature trench coats. The short film was shot over a period of six days and features screenplay written by Academy Award nominee Matt Charman. Check out ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry” posted above.
