Max ‘n Chester Fall/Winter 2017 At NYFWM Is Oversized With Welcomed Prints and Fabrics
Max ‘n Chester presented their Fall/Winter 2017 collection at NYFWM, giving us wearable looks for both men and women. Inspiration here comes mainly from music and its influence on fashion during the punk and grunge periods. For this reason, we see oversized fits and a palette of blacks and charcoals, spanning across an expanded lineup which now includes outerwear and sweaters for the first time. The full palette for men also sees dark hunter greens, olives, and camels, showcased with polka dot and striped prints. Waist coats, painters shirts, and hunter jackets sit alongside Max ‘n Chester’s blazers and pants while corduroy and faded camouflage come together in a military inspired jacket.
Max ‘n Chester continues to source only the finest Japanese materials, with this season seeing mohair, moleskin, and more. Men’s and women’s looks from their presentation can be seen in the gallery above while their their Fall/Winter 2017 collection will land in retailers early fall.
