Drake’s London has released looks from their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, a special moment as this season marks the brand’s 40th anniversary. It’s pretty remarkable given that Drake’s has consistently delivered unbelievably crafted fashion items over their storied history. This time around, we get a good amount of inspiration from the archives which has led to Creative Director Michael Hill reworking some of the very first Drake’s prints. The end result is a stellar line up of scarves, ties, and pocket squares with handcrafted, hand-painted detailing throughout.
Nautical colors earth tones are apparent for Spring 2017, which will work effortlessly with the introduction of suiting from Drake’s. The look and feel is very much an English interpretation of mid-century French Riviera style mixed with Japanese tailoring. We get to choose from a navy seersucker, navy linen, and brown linen suit, each ready to work effortlessly with the Drake’s lineup of accessories.
