adidas Originals by Hender Scheme Spring/Summer 2018 Hits Select Retailers This Month

adidas Originals and Japan’s Hender Scheme are following their collaboration from last year with another collection, this time paying tribute to three modern classics from the adidas Originals lineup — the Superstar, Micropacer and NMD R1. Though every one of Hender Scheme’s manual industrial products have released in the label’s signature tanned leather in either a natural or all-black finish, this Spring 2018 collection sees Ryo Kashiwazaki go beyond this to introduce an actual color palette for the first time.

Here, we see the Micropacer get a classic silver outerlay and red and blue accents, while the NMD R1 comes in black with blue and red plugs, which early fans of the shoe might remember from the NMD’s original release. And then there’s the Superstar which gets a black upper and triple stripes.

For those looking for Hender Scheme’s natural leather option, worry not as we’ll be getting those as well, tying together all we’ve come to love from both Hender Scheme and adidas Originals in one collection. All six shoes will be hand-crafted by Hender Scheme in Tokyo.

Check out all the looks in the gallery up top and look for the Hender Scheme x adidas Originals Spring 2018 lineup to hit select retailers on March 16th.
