Detroit, Michigan-based design studio Sitskie recently announced a new seating collection and credenza for vinyl enthusiasts, both locally crafted by husband-and-wife team Adam and Vanessa Friedman.
The Fig Collection, featuring a chair and stool, was inspired by the Sitskie office fig trees. The plant translates well into the chair, with a bent steel frame and laminated leather-faced curved panels. The Open 45 Credenza is designed for vinyl enthusiasts who want to display their record player and collection. Designed as a modular piece of furniture, the credenza is available in 5′ or 7′ lengths with movable shells and dividers. A cord channel also hides any messy cords and allows users to set up the credenza to display whatever they would like.
