After a ton of leaking and chatting in the rumor mills, Xbox has gone ahead and confirmed the release of the Xbox Series S, the smaller next-generation console that will accompany the larger Series X. Though exact specs haven’t been confirmed, the price has been and it’s set to $299, making it the most affordable of the duo as well.
As for the rumors, leaked but unconfirmed details tell us the Xbox Series S will deliver 1440p gaming at 120fps. Other features include raytracing, variable-rate shading, variable refresh rate, and ultra-latency support. Internal storage is rumored to be 512GB.
