Following the reveal of the all-new GT Track Series, Mercedes celebrates the 55th anniversary of its high-performance subsidiary AMG with a special-edition Mercedes-AMG G 63.
Called Edition 55, the SUV is presented in two different colors, Obsidian Black Metallic and G Manufaktur Opalite White – both featuring a side stripe with a close-up of the AMG badge.
The off-roader has a 585hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine combined with the classic square design details and body shape. It sits on 22″ AMG forged wheels with exterior details finished in matte tantalum grey paint. The fuel cap has a chrome finish engraved with “AMG.”
The special G-Class will showcase the AMG Performance steering wheel in DINAMICA microfibre and two-tone leather upholstery in black and red and matte carbon AMG trim elements. In addition, it will sport the optional AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II specifications.
The anniversary package is priced at €17,850 EUR (approx. $19,600 USD) over the standard cost of $156,450 USD.
