2022 Ford GT LM Edition Marks the End of Special Themed Ford GTs

The 2022 Ford GT LM Edition was created to honor America’s only Le Mans-winning supercar that includes wins in 2016 and the historic triple podium sweep in 1966.

It comes in a Liquid Silver painted carbon-fiber body, with customer optioned red- or blue-tinted ultra-lightweight carbon-fiber accents to honor the 2016 No. 68 Le Mans class winner’s red and blue coat. The tint carries onto the front splitter, side sills, mirror stalks, rear diffuser, engine bay louvers, and inner-barrel highlights on the exposed gloss 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels. Titanium lug nuts and black Brembo brake calipers round out the look.

Outside, we can also see a unique 3D-printed titanium dual exhaust featuring a cyclonic design inside the tips that echo the twin-turbo 660 HP EcoBoost engine. Above the tip sits a 3D-printed GT LM logo badge.

The interior features Alcantara-wrapped carbon fiber seats, with the driver’s seat and start button in either red or blue and the Ebony-colored passenger seat featuring matching stitching. The rest of the interior comes in an upholstered carbon-trimmed Ebony leather or Alcantara, with carbon-fiber accents on the center console, A-pillars, and vent registers to complete the visual upgrades.

Only 20 examples of this final 2022 Ford GT LM Edition will be built. Deliveries start this fall and production ends later in the year. No price has been revealed, but will likely cost more than the $500,000 price tag on the typical GT.
