Heritage lifestyle brand Barbour teams up again with Brampton Bikes for a second collaboration. The new Barbour x Brompton collection features limited-edition clothing, bags, and a special edition Brompton bike.
The apparel line includes Barbour’s redesigned signature wax jacket with a detachable hood, cooling airflow vents and mesh panel lining, and a custom reversible fold quilt jacket, hi-viz orange on one side and olive green on the other, with a large patch pocket, ribbed cuffs and reflective tape. Safety features like reflective panels and bright fabrics that can be hidden for off-bike leisure are present in the collection. The T-shirts are created by fashion illustrator Fei Wang aka Mr. Slowboy, featuring city biker graphics in shades of navy, white, and gray.
It features a 24-liter Barbour x Brompton Waxed Holdall, made from 10oz waxed-cotton fabric with leather handles and a tartan lining with a carrier clip front mount, which comes included as part of the bike package. Also included in the package is the Barbour x Brompton Zip Pouch that fits either to the Brompton’s saddle or its handlebars. A 12-liter City Bag can be purchased separately, made of Barbour’s waxed cotton with leather trim and brass hardware.
The collection highlight is the Barbour x Brompton C Line Explore Bicycle. Made to match Barbour’s bags and clothing, it comes in a special Amble Sands gloss colorway and features a Silt Gray Brooks C17 Cambium weather-resistant saddle with special-edition gold decals. Gold Barbour and Brompton logos are seen on the frame paired with a custom serial number plate that pays homage to landmark lighthouses located on the coast of South Shields in the North East of England, along with a silver Brompton pump.
The collection is now available on the Brompton and Barbour websites with prices ranging from about $50 for the T-shirts and up to $2085 for the Barbour x Brompton C Line Explore bike.
