Emily Adams Bode-Aujla’s Bode Fall 2022 menswear collection revisited her archives and explored pieces that she thought she couldn’t reproduce in a way she wanted to.
For her Fall 2022 menswear collection, the designer delved into a vast archive of antique textiles, materials, color, embroidery, and techniques to bring together an eclectic collection that speaks of her rich inspiration.
Bode’s collection ranges from a colorful bead-embroidered shirt in a mid-century modern floral pattern worn under a blue and white patchwork suit to a vest embroidered with white wooden beads. The collection sees puffed sets with intricate embroidery on top of elaborate button-ups with floral detailing in primary tones, form revealing crocheted tops, and sparkling embellishments on collarless jackets and other pieces.Bode’s Fall 2022 is a showcase of what Bode does best, reinvigorating American menswear through the art of storytelling and preservation.
