Hodinkee partners with Hamilton to create the Hamilton Khaki Collector’s Set for Hodinkee composed of the 40mm Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer and the 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical.
Both watches sport the same stainless-steel design with a sandblasted matte black base dial with white markings, beige indices, beige and orange hands, a tan canvas strap with a leather reinforcement patch and a steel pin buckle, and a caseback with a special edition Hodinkee mark with an individual collection number.
The 40mm Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer measures 14.35mm thick with a sapphire crystal dial cover and is powered by the hand-wound Caliber H-51-Si and features 27 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph with a 60-hour power reserve.
The 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical is 9.5mm thick and follows the same design as the Khaki Pioneer. It is powered by the hand-wound Hamilton H-50 caliber and uses 17 jewels to run at a rate of 21,600vph with an 80-hour power reserve.
The Hamilton Khaki Limited Edition Collection can be purchased individually or as a Collector’s set. The Khaki Field Mechanical watches, priced at $595, will have only 800 units made. The Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical is priced at $2,145 with 200 units available. The Collector’s set costs $2,740 and comes with a watertight Pelican case, a valet mat, Field Notes “Khaki” Limited Edition notebooks, and an additional set of nylon NATO straps.
