Heron Preston SS23 Takes on the Streets of New York

Heron Preston unveils its New York-inspired Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Orchard Street, the eight-city block corridor between the Lower East Side and Chinatown, served as the primary influence for the pieces.

Sustainability in the form of Less Environmentally Destructive products is a major undertone for more than half of the collection. Biodegradable denim made from Coreva, developed and patented by the Italian firm Candiani Denim, shows up in the Heron Preston collection in loose cuts, varied traditional blue-hued washes, and gradient pastel tones evocative of Skittles candy.

The collection also includes reimaginings of some of the brand’s signature styles, like the “Preston Racing” leather jackets, money print jackets, faux basketball uniforms and law school tees, and security-style outerwear, complete with imaginary racing team logos, college crests, or security badges.

Playing on gender-free expressions, the luxury workwear brand included statement pieces like a backless suit jacket and one overlaid in black lace with orange cuff detailing.

Completing the collection are two new footwear styles, the Block Stepper and Peacekeeper boot for men, alongside the Thong Heel and Tied-Up Heel for women.

The complete Heron Preston SS23 collection is now available to view online.
