Engineered Garments FW23 Takes Outerwear From Nostalgia To High-Fashion

Engineered Garments, known for its fatigue and cargo pants, shirting, workwear, and blazer-style jackets, presents its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Inspiration for the collection comes from Daiki Suzuki’s experiences sourcing vintage clothing and collectibles in the 80s and 90s and browsing through old magazines.

The brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection leans on that outdoor American, heavy-duty ivy aesthetic, calling back to Engineered Garments’ early collections in 2002. Pieces play on shades of orange, blue, red, camel, wheat, and azure. Revamped hunting jackets, wool flannel shirts, double-knee pants, bright bird-patterned reds and florals, classic tweed blazers, and corduroy cargo pants make an appearance in the collection, as well.

Highlight pieces feature modern shell, cotton, and suede jackets paired with nylon pants, graphic hoodies, earth-hued houndstooth suiting paired with soft waistcoats and printed button-down shirts, relaxed fit plaid shorts, indigo denim, crimson red monochromatic ensembles, quilted coordinating sets, reimagined kimono tops, and geometric crochet-style wool ponchos.
