The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has been revealed, joining the new generations of C-class sedans and GLC-class SUVs. The German brand’s newest sloped-back coupe is slightly bigger than the previous coupe.
The previous generation GLC Coup’s curvilinear design carries over to the new version for the most part. The 2024 model’s reshaped headlights and slimmer taillights are the quickest way to differentiate the new GLC Coupe, along with downward-angling running lights along the top edge of the housing.
The new GLC Coupe is 1.2 inches longer than its predecessor at 187.5 inches. The track widths have also grown by 0.2 inches in the front and 0.9 inches in the rear. This gives the SUV 19.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 52.6 cubic feet of total space if you fold down the second row.
Inside, the cockpit sees the most redesign with a 12.3-inch floating-landscape driver display with an 11.9-inch portrait-oriented center middle infotainment touchscreen. The 2024 GLC Coupe also comes with square-shaped air vents, cascading panels, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, heated front seats, a Burmester sound system, and advanced driver-assist systems that include Surround View 360-degree camera, a “transparent hood” camera function, and hill-descent control.
Powering the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is the same turbocharged 255 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder used in the standard GLC, with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that produces 295 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and gets the new four-link front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, with sport suspension tuning as standard.
The GLC Coupe will only have the 300 4Matic all-wheel-drive system with a standard-issue AMG Line package option at launch. This includes the AMG star grille, 19-inch wheels with optional 20 inches, leather-lined dash, and a range of wood veneer options for trims.
Mercedes is yet to announce pricing for the 2024 GLC Coupe, but we expect to have more information when it begins to ship to dealerships later this year.
