A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Chronograph Shows Off New Limited Edition Design at Watches and Wonders 2023

German horologist A. Lange & Söhne first introduced the Odysseus in 2019, since then, the watch has received several new design iterations. This year, the Odysseus Chronograph comes in a limited edition 42.5mm stainless steel case with the collection’s iconic dial construction, and a 60-minute chronograph powered by the brand’s first automatic chronograph movement.

The 2023 Odysseus Chronograph features a stainless steel case, sapphire glass case back, outsize date display, zero reset function, day-of-week display, 6 o’clock sub-seconds register, 4 o’clock chronograph pusher, central chronograph minutes hand with a lozenge-shaped tip, and a red chronograph seconds hand.

Powering the chronograph is the new L155.1 DATOMATIC self-winding movement. It provides 50 hours of power and beats at 28kbps, visible behind a sapphire case back, it features hand-engraved stylized waves along the balance bridge, a skeletonized rotor with a black-rhodium central rotor, and 950 platinum centrifugal mass.

The A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Chronograph will only have 100 examples produced, and is exclusively available at Lange boutiques, with pricing available upon request.
