BMW Teases New Cars at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2023

This year, BMW Group Classic will play host to the legendary Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in cooperation with the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este. The prestigious annual event runs from May 19th to 21st and is one of the German automaker’s calendar events.

This year’s three-day event will include eight vehicle classes: A Century of the 24 hours of Le Mans, The Fast and the Formal, Grand Vitesse, Incredible India, Porsche at 75, Granturismo, That ‘Made in Italy’ Look, and Here Comes the Sun.

Some other awards up for grabs, outside of individual category awards, include the Best of Show, Coppa d’Oro prize, Trofeo del Presidente, and the Trofeo Il Canto del Motore. In addition, awards will be presented in a special category for spectacular concept cars from various manufacturers. The Trofeo BMW Group Best of Show winner will also receive an 18-carat white gold A. Lange & Söhne 1815 chronograph with a solid pink gold dial and hand-engraved Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este crest on the cuvette.

On Sunday, May 21st, the BMW Group will be presenting new vehicles, including a special BMW M car and a MINI Cooper SE Convertible, an electric scooter from BMW Motorrad, a new all-electric M Performance model of the BMW 7 Series in an exclusive ‘two-tone’ livery, and a ‘one-off homage to motoring for two’ from the BMW Group. Elsewhere, the BMW M GmbH will be displaying the new BMW 3.0 CSL at Villa d’Este on Saturday and at Villa Erba on Sunday, along with the BMW 3.0 CSL from 1973.

RM Sotheby’s, the official auction partner of BMW Group Classic this year, will also be holding an auction on the grounds of Villa Erba on Saturday, May 20th, where several BMW M models from a private collector will be up for auction.For more information and tickets for the event, please visit the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este website.
