Gucci Vault ‘Continuum’ x Vans Collection Spotlights Repurposed Archive Fabric

The Gucci Vault ‘Continuum’ capsule collection’s most recent collaboration sees textiles archived from recent Gucci collections repurposed by Vans to create five unisex footwear designs spread over three styles, all packaged in special boxes inspired directly by the original Vans ‘Customade for You’ boxes.

The Unisex UOG Old Skool, which first debuted in 1977, gets a new twist with toe and heel black leather, two different floral canvas body construction, and metal-studded detailing. The Unisex UOG Old Skool retail for $380 and comes in several size options.

The Unisex Patchwork OG Mule is constructed from black and multicolor floral canvas mismatched patchwork uppers, all sourced from repurposed fabrics from the Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 collection. This pair retails for $290 and also offers several sizing options.

Finally, the Unisex OG Classic Slip-On gets three different treatments. All three pairs sport check leather patterns, floral motif canvas inserts, as well as stud and eyelet detailing. The tonal yellow check leather pair features floral canvas inserts, while the red/pink and black/white leather variants feature repurposed fabrics from the Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 collection. All three pairs retail for $320 each, with several size options available.

The Gucci Vault ‘Continuum’ x Vans capsule collection is available now from Gucci Vault.
