With a name synonymous with outerwear in general and coats in particular, Mackintosh has that corner of the market covered for well over 200 years. The Scottish coat maker’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection takes the iconic quality tailoring and infuses it with patterns and colors for the season.
Camouflage patterns make an appearance in the collection with the panel-designed Bergamo Black Camo Parka that uses water-repellent cotton nylon, Captain Black Camo Shorts, a lightweight Shower Camo Packable Nylon Coat that uses water-repellent ripstop nylon, and the Tipping Black Camo Nylon Baseball Cap.
Another pattern for the season is seen in leopard print with new cornflower blue, black, and light brown colorways. Highlight pieces include the Teeming Leopard Print Nylon Packable Coach Jacket and the Casey Blue Leopard Nylon Hood with drawstring toggles and logo-trim print.
Bright Easter colors get the spotlight with the Kings Sky Blue ECO DRY Trench Coat with belted cuffs, an internal phone pocket, and epaulets, and the Newington Yellow ECO DRY coat with point collar, coat latch, and an internal tab for adding a liner vest, and the Pelting Yellow ECO DRY Bucket Hat. All items feature water-repellent and breathable ECO DRY fabric technology.
The collection also gets several accessories, outerwear pieces, tailored trousers, and shirts to round out the season’s offering.
