Minnesota-based Red Wing first created the Classic Moc in 1952. Initially made for sportspeople, the boot gained a following from farm and factory workers for its long-lasting structure and all-day comfort. And in the decades since, it’s grown into one of the world’s most iconic boots.
This year, Red Wing is expanding its Heritage Classic Moc model with the introduction of the Hawthorne Abilene colorway. The Classic Moc’s features remain the same, from the Moc toe construction, the iconic Traction Tred rubber outsoles, and the Puritan triple-stitching, all the way down to the Goodyear welt. The Red Wing Heritage Hawthorne Abilene Moc model gets a lighter beige ‘Hawthorne’ full grain, oiled leather uppers, nickel eyelets, two-toned brown and beige shoe laces, and a brown leather lining.
