Land Rover released information on the 2024 updates for its Defender line. Changes include engine updates, new seating configurations, and the introduction of an Outbound special edition.
Starting with the Land Rover Defender 110, the British automaker broadens the choices by giving it a 493-hp V8 option with an SE trim, scaled-back equipment, and a $600 County appearance pack. The Country pack is a visual nod to the original Defender County model. It features illuminated front tread plates with County graphics, contrasting color options on the roof and tailgate, and 20-inch wheels in two finish options, including Gloss White. The low-spec Land Rover Defender 110 starts at a retail price of $94,475.
Next up is the 2024 Land Rover Defender 130. The model gets a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 variant that pushes out 493 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. Only two exterior paint options, Carpathian Gray or Santorini Black, are available for the model, while the interior comes exclusively in an Ebony Windsor leather trim. The vehicle model also gets a black contrast roof, V8 exterior badging, darkened tail lights, and 22-inch satin gray wheels. The 2024 Land Rover Defender 130 starts at $118,075, including a $1,475 destination charge.
And finally, we have the 2024 Land Rover Defender 130 Outbound. Powered by a P400 inline-six engine, the limited-run model is available only as a five-seater, and it eschews the third row in favor of extra cargo room. It gets an assortment of design and equipment updates that include Shadow Atlas Matt finish bumpers and grilles, Anthracite side vents, standard 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac All-Terrain tires with an option to get 22-inch Shadow Atlas Matt wheels with all-terrain tires for $2400, and Fuji White, Santorini Black, Carpathian Gray, or Eiger Gray exterior paint options. The interior is fitted with an exclusive Ebony theme that extends to the Morzine headliner and Robustec veneer, with Windsor leather or Resist fabric upholstery options, rubber floor mats, a cargo net, and lashing points. The new Outbound trim starts at $85,975.
The 2024 Land Defenders can be ordered now from Land Rover dealerships.
