Nike Re-Creation Program Makes Its Way to London and Paris

Introduced in May of last year, the Nike Re-Creation Program aims to collect vintage and dead stock pieces and use them to create new locally designed and manufactured products. It’s the brand’s way of offering a new solution with a goal of a zero-carbon, zero-waste future.

Starting off with three iconic fleece hoodies and crew silhouettes inspired by LA sport culture in 2022, the Nike Re-Creation Program now visits London and Paris with a theme revolving around the future of athletes in sports. It will feature upcycled collections by London’s Greater Goods and Parisian designer Sarah Mo.

The collection features vintage Nike crewnecks and hoodies refurbished with frayed checkered designs, black T-shirts with cut panels revealing repurposed lighter panels, patchwork nylon outerwear and bottoms, and accessories carrying the same design touches.

The Nike Re-Creation London collection will launch at NikeTown London later this month with a 25-piece one-of-one capsule collection with a broader collection to follow, while Paris will have its own launch later this summer.
