Paris-based luxury watch brand Bell & Ross and Patrouille de France, the precision aerobatics demonstration unit of the French Air and Space Force, mark their third-year collaboration with the BR 03-92 Patrouille de France 70th Anniversary watch.
Inspired by pilots and designed with pilots, the watch celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Patrouille de France. The square-cased pilot design is an homage to the team and its history. The 42mm-wide watch features a matte black cockpit instrument-inspired rounded-square micro blasted ceramic case, short squared-off lugs, a blue dial, a French tricolor chapter ring inner edge, a Patrouille de France logo at 9 o’clock, and a 70th-anniversary logo at 3 o’clock. White transfer numerals, hands, and indices are coated in Super-LumiNova®, paired with Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a solid caseback, and water resistance of 100 meters.
The BR 03-92 Patrouille de France 70th Anniversary caseback features silhouettes and adoption dates for the Republic F-84G Thunderjet, the Dassault Ouragan, the Dassault Mystère IV, the Fouga Magister, and the Dassault Alphajet aircrafts used by the team throughout its history. It is designed with the group’s emblem and the 70th-anniversary commemorative designation.
The watch comes with a blue calfskin leather strap embossed with the Patrouille de France emblem and tricolor accent stitching; an extra ultra-resilient black synthetic canvas fabric strap is also provided with the purchase.
Powering the BR 03-92 Patrouille de France 70th Anniversary watch is the Sellita-based BR-CAL.302 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve at a 28,800 BPH beat rate.
