IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe Revealed

After being spotted on the wrist of F1’s 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, IWC has officially revealed the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe, reference IW503008. IWC Schaffhausen first introduced the all-white Lake Tahoe in 2022 as part of its ‘Colors of TOP GUN‘ subset of IWC watches.

All manufactured in ceramic or Ceratanium, the line expands to include the newest entry, the Lake Tahoe white with a Perpetual Calendar. The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe features a 46.5mm wide fully white ceramic case, pressure-protected sapphire crystal over the dial and the caseback, steel diamond-shaped crown, a matte black dial, Super-LumiNova® detailing, tonal hour and minute hands, balanced subdials, as well as the date, day of the week, month, year, power reserve and perpetual moon phase indicators.

The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe runs on the 52615 Automatic Caliber, also used in previous Big Pilot QP watches. Developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s, the movement features a large open-worked central rotor, Côtes de Genève, and perlage. It has a 168-hour, translating to about a 7-day power reserve.

The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe IW503008 has a white rubber strap with a textile inlay and the brand’s signature deployant clasp. It is expected to retail for $40,900 when it becomes available in July via IWC’s website and authorized retailers.
