Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture Debuts Thirty-First Manufacture Caliber
Frederique Constant, the Geneva-based watchmaker, announced a new movement with a moon phase indicator, big date, and power reserve complication. The new Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture series will feature the brand’s own automatic caliber FC-735, the 31st movement developed in-house over the last 35 years.
The Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture collection debuts with four models: a limited-edition platinum case with a meteorite dial, a limited-edition rose gold case with a gray anthracite dial, and two standard collection steel case models with a blue and silver dial.
The 40mm Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture models feature a crown at 3 o’clock that adjusts all three complications, a time set function and winding mechanism, a large big date aperture between 2 and 3 o’clock, a moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator arc at 9 o’clock, and applied diamond-cut hour markers and hands, scratch-resistant and anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal over the dial, open caseback, and water resistance up to 30m.
The limited-edition platinum Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture, reference FC-735N3H6, comes with a dark blue meteorite dial and a matching matte navy blue alligator strap and is limited to only 33 examples.
The limited-edition rose gold Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture, reference FC-735G3H9, with a sun-brushed gray dial and a matte brown alligator strap, is limited to only 350 examples.
The permanent collection models include reference FC-735N3H6, which has a blue sun-brushed dial and a matte blue alligator strap, and reference FC-735S3H6, which has a silver sun-brushed dial and a matte blue alligator strap.
Powering the Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date collection is the new in-house automatic caliber FC-735. It operates at 4Hz and features 32 jewels, hours, minutes, seconds, big date, power reserve indicator, moon phase indicator, and a 50-hour power reserve.
