In a dazzling display of watchmaking artistry, De Bethune unveiled the DBD Evergreen during the prestigious Dubai Watch Week 2023. Limited to just 20 pieces, this green iteration of the iconic De Bethune Digitale transcends traditional elegance, drawing inspiration from the profound symbolism of the color green deeply embedded in the history and culture of the Middle East.

The 30mm DBD Evergreen is crafted from polished grade 5 titanium. The watch sports a distinctive green dial adorned with Côtes de Genève decoration that pays homage to 18th-century horology, cone-shaped ‘ogivale’ lugs, sapphire crystal over the dial, hour, minute, day, date, and month discs with black characters on a white background, a manually wound triple linear calendar, a crown at 12 o’clock, sapphire caseback, and water resistance up to 30 meters. The distinctive limited edition DBD Evergreen comes with a two-tone beige and green textile strap with a black alligator strap held with a grade 5 titanium pin buckle.

The in-house mechanical caliber DB2044 runs the timepiece, which vibrates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The hand-wound movement features a cutting-edge titanium balance wheel and De Bethune spiral, featuring gray gold inserts, 29 jewels, a silicon escape wheel, a triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system, chamfered and polished silver plate cover, barrel bridge cover with ‘Côtes De Bethune,’ hand-snailed barrels, hand-polished, chamfered steel parts, and a 5-day power reserve.

The De Bethune DBD Evergreen, reference DBDRE, retails for around $118,550 and reflects De Bethune’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of watchmaking.
