Frederique Constant x The Avener Highlife Automatic | A Duo Harmony of Time and Music Unveiled at Dubai Watch Week
Frederique Constant and The Avener unveiled a limited edition timepiece collection at the prestigious Dubai Watch Week. In a symphony of collaboration between Swiss watchmaking excellence and the pulsating beats of the music world, these two exclusive Highlife X The Avener Highlife Automatic watches are set to resonate with aficionados of both horology and electro beats.
The Highlife X The Avener collection, born out of the partnership announced in June 2022, showcases two limited-edition pieces housed in a 39-millimeter steel case designed by The Avener himself. The first piece features a stainless steel case with brushed and polished finishings, and a black dial with blue sound wave patterns reminiscent of the frequencies monitored on a recording studio console, paying homage to The Avener’s late-night sets. The second comes in a black DLC-coated stainless steel case with monochrome concentric sonic wave patterns against a matte black dial embodying the essence of The Avener’s music.
Both watches have applied indices with luminescent material, hour and minute hands with luminescent material, polished central seconds hand, the inscription ‘a tempo’ over the date window at 6 o’clock, an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal over dial, a see-through screwed case back, and a water resistance of 100 meters. The steel model comes with an integrated interchangeable 3-link bracelet and additional black rubber strap, while the black DLC model comes with an interchangeable black rubber strap and an additional black Nubuck leather strap.
Powering the Highlife X The Avener Highlife Automatic exclusive timepieces is the automatic FC-303 caliber, visible through a glare-proof sapphire crystal caseback. The movement features 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph, hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions, a limitation number along the edge, and a 38-hour power reserve.
Limited to 432 models each, these unique watches come in a unique gift box, resembling a musician’s tour flight case, and a limited-edition plate. The stainless steel model, reference FC-303TA3NH6B, is priced at $2,295 and is set for delivery at the end of December, while the black DLC variant, reference FC-303TA3DNH6, retails for $2,495, and will be available at the end of January.
